5 YEARS.
During which time I have moved twice - selling my quaint picture postcard cottage along the way (note to self - post a pic), - had 6 birthdays (oh well the alternative isn't worth thinking about), started (or rather bought) a business and my son has nearly graduated with high class honours in his English degree course (about to join his father and grandfather as graduates of The University of Liverpool).
So, we all now live in the wonderful Wirral and I've also found a great friend with whom I share a lot in common (as well as he reminding me so much of my late brother who, like him, was autistic). I've also recommenced playing Bridge which I fell out of love with a few years ago - have won a few more competitions but the emphasis is very much on the business.
Our wonderful German Shepherd girl is no longer 4 years old she is NINE - and now epileptic. I do a lot of charity work for a wonderful rescue organisation - German Shepherd Rescue UK.
Oh and you're wondering (I hope) what the business is - it's a delicatessen and takeaway right in the heart of Liverpool City Centre.
I'll obviously need to make a great deal of effort to stay around and enliven this blog - perhaps I'll even post excerpts from my writings ("book") or my son's fantastic poetry.
